Diagonal Sudoku 

Introduction

This page describes what I've decided to call "Diagonal Sudokus". These are the same as the classic 9 by 9 version except that the diagonals too can only contain the numbers 1-9. Source code to generate these can be found on the source code page.

Solved Example

This is an example of a diagonal Sudoku generated by the MakeSudoku script on the code page. Note: it only has 14 values filled in. The equivalent "standard" puzzle would have about 21. It also uses the numbers 0-8 rather then 1-9. I'll fix this one day.

Some to try

These examples were created using the MakeSudoku script. The first three using the "easy" and "medium" options, the last 4 using "hard". Number 8 has only 13 numbers, so is probably the hardest.
