Cornwall: Mevagissey 2005

We decided to take a short break for half-term, spending a few days in a "Bed-and-Breakfast" in St Austell. The main purpose was to visit the Eden project, but we also hired some bicycles and did a bit of sight-seeing. The Eden project gives you a discount if you arrive by bicycle.

Cycling

Mevagissey

My abiding memories of Mevagissy are twofold. First we watched the Arsenal vs Sheffield United FA Cup match in one of the local pubs (Sat 19th Feb 2005). I was the only Sheffield United supporter in the pub, my children and all the locals gunning for Arsenal. It finished 1-1 in the end. The other incident was after the game when we went for a meal and I dropped my camera, breaking the lens. Anyway, here are some pictures of Mevagissey.
