Hotel to Amalfi, via Pogerola.

Although Amalfi is only about a mile from the hotel (if that) its still quite a walk as we had to descend about a thousand feet (300 meters). We went via Pogerola which is the nearest village to the hotel. This is a nice place with some friendly bars/cafes and a little hill-top park. The park was spoilt for me somewhat as someone appeared to have systematically destroyed all the path-side lights.

	Once we got to Pogerola the route continued down these well-made stairways to Amalfi.
